You can experience extreme quad biking by taking an exhilarating journey over rolling hills, through woodland, streams, and lots of mud. If you have never been on a quad bike before, it doesn’t matter because skilled instructors will teach you basic skills in no time. It is then up to you to put the quad bike through its paces and race through picturesque and testing terrain on your quad bike trek.

When you arrive you will be given a safety briefing by a qualified quad bike instructor and fitted out with protective clothing for the ride. You will have a demonstration of the bikes you will be riding and a period of ability and safety assessment before having some final lessons just before you are let loose into the great outdoors. After completing some quad biking on flat field you can then let the bike rip and see what it can really do over some challenging terrain!

Guidelines for participants

The minimum age for quad bike riders is 16 years old.
The maximum weight quad bike riders is 18 stone.
The minimum height is 5′ 2′.
Please be aware that quad biking is an extreme experience and not suitable for people with back or neck problems or people with general ill health.

This quad biking experience can be affected by very extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please contact the centre. Contact details will be provided once the booking has been completed.

Dress code

It is essential that you dress for the outdoors with stout boots and a waterproof jacket to protect against the elements. If it is cold, ensure that you bring warm clothing. Protective clothing will be provided, but it is advised that you wear your old clothes as you will likely get muddy over the course of the activity (especially your boots). Also remember to bring a change of clothes for the journey home.

Drive a quad bike around a tough track and learn the techniques to control these great fun machines. Your instructor will place obstacles for you to tackle on the training course, before you will progress to a more challenging circuit where you will be able to put your newly gained handling skills into practice. Depending on the choice of course you will even be able to tackle a woodland environment.

Your quad bike experience will start with a mandatory safety talk. This will take you through the dos and don’ts all and provide equipment instruction and a safety briefing. Once the formalities are over, you will get to spend some time racing around the rugged circuit tracks and, dependent on venue, you could head off for some exhilarating offroad quad biking!

Spectators

Spectators are welcome, but during woodland quad biking, the view will obviously be limited.

This quad bike full day experience will combine the thrill of riding a quad bike over challenging and varied terrain as well as giving you the opportunity to get out into the tranquil scenery of Perthshire and explore unspoiled areas of natural beauty. You will drive on secluded tracks, and almost unused tarmac roads in a group of no more than four people. A fully trained quad bike trek leader will be present at all times during the trek who will be able to lead the group and point out areas of interest and offer interesting insights into the local area.

Your quad bike experience will begin with a full safety briefing and an introduction to the machine you will be riding. During the full day trip you will cover well in excess of 50km over varying types of terrain which will test the machines to the maximum. You will be able to stop for a refreshment break which will give you the chance to relax and enjoy the tranquil unspoiled scenery.
